“Splashy” Earns Back-to-Back Player of the Week Honors

Jazz Gaming guard Kimanni “Splashy” Ingram has been named the NBA 2K League Player of the Week for Week 7 of the regular season, the league announced today. “Splashy” joins Raptors Uprising GC forward Kenneth “Kenny Got Work” Hailey as the only players to earn multiple Player of the Week honors this season.

“Splashy” previously earned Player of the Week accolades in Week 6 of the regular season, collecting the honor in back-to-back regular season weeks.

The Milwaukee native helped lead Jazz Gaming to a 3-0 week in Week 7, averaging 30.8 points on 56.8 percent from the field while dishing out 7.7 assists. The team swept each best-of-three series last week to improve to 7-1 on the regular season.

“‘Splashy’ has added another dimension to our team, and our chemistry and willingness to play for each other are clear every time we step out on the floor together,” said Jazz Gaming Head Coach Jelani “Comp” Mitchell. “It’s been a privilege to watch ‘Splashy’ continue to grow in his first season in the NBA 2K League. His Player of the Week honors are well-deserved.”

Jazz Gaming returns to action tomorrow, Tuesday, June 30, against Hawks Talon GC (Atlanta Hawks affiliate) at 7 p.m. (MT). Jazz Gaming will wrap up this week’s slate of games with a contest against Wizards District Gaming (Washington Wizards affiliate) on Wednesday, July 1 at 5 p.m. (MT).

The matches will be streamed on ESPN’s digital platforms and the NBA 2K League’s Twitch and YouTube channels. The team will continue to compete remotely from the Jazz Gaming Lounge powered by Maverik on Level 5 of Vivint Smart Home Arena.
